Tjalkadjara Consent Determination of Native Title
On 14 September 2026, the Federal Court of Australia will make a determination of native title in respect of the Tjalkadjara native title claim (WAD 597 of 2028). This determination formally recognises the native title rights and interests of the Tjalkadjara people and the traditional ownership they have maintained over their lands since time immemorial.
We congratulate the Tjalkadjara claimants on reaching this significant milestone.
